What is Klarna? 

Klarna is a Swedish based payment service that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payments. Klarna is a provider of smooth payments to over 100,000 online stores. Over 60 million customers trust Klarna to handle their payments securely.

How does Klarna’s pay later work?

Once your order has been confirm, you will receive an email with the instructions of payment within two days from Klarna, you’ll then have 14 or 30 days to try on your order and only pay when you are happy. You will then be required to complete the payment online at your convenience with no extra cost. You can pay by either credit or debit card at www.klarna.com/uk

Can I use Klarna’s Pay Later service? 

You must be aged 18 or over to use Pay Later. Whilst this option is widely promoted, Pay Later is subject for approval based on your financial circumstances. By choosing Pay Later you agree to our assessment, however this will not affect your credit rating. 

Can I do anything that will help me get accepted? 

Klarna is like other financial providers and offers Pay Later based on a number of different factors for example, order value, previous order history, item availability. If you are over the age of 18 you can improve your chances of being accepted Pay Later by, ensuring all personal details are correct and up to date, addresses for shipping and billing are correct and shipping is the same as your billing address. If you have been offered Pay Later before is doesn’t mean you will be offered it every time. Also if you have been denied once before, it doesn’t mean you will be denied on all future orders. 

What do I need to provide when I make a purchase via Klarna?

Klarna requires you to provide you mobile phone number and email address. Your mobile number is required in case we may need to contact you. All statements will be sent to you via the email address provided. It is important that the information is provided correctly otherwise you will not receive the payment information and will be subject to delayed payment fees. 

Will a credit search take place?

Klarna may run what is known a a soft credit check, this does not affect your credit score and will only be visible between you and Klarna. Neither Klarna or Blanksn London run a credit search that could impact your credit rating.

What has caused me to be declined?

Klarna although widely promoted as a Pay Later method, is not always available. The Pay Later method is worked out based on algorithms that take a number of factors into place including, , order value, previous order history, item availability. If you are not accepted you can still ay via a Credit or Debit card.

What are Klarna’s payment methods? 

Klarna allows you to Pay Later allowing you to pay after receiving your items, Split the payments into 3 or pay straight away. 

What if I cancel or return my items? 

Once Blanksn London has received your returned item(s) and have accepted the cancellation/return, Klarna will then cancel any statements applicable or refund your payment.

What happens if I don’t pay? 

Payment is due 14 or 30 days after the item has been shipped. To help pay on time Klarna will notify you two days before payment is due, you’ll receive email notifications reminding you to pay. If payment is very late we’ll also send you a text or letter also. Failing to pay Klarna for your order will result in your credit score being affected. 

Why have I been told to visit Klarna’s site? 

Klarna will send you an email with further payment details for your order if choosing Pay Later, the email will contain a link where you will be able to pay for your order with your credit or debit card. 

Is my personal information safe? 

All information provided by you to Klarna is secure. No credit or debit card details are transferred or held by Blanksn London. All transaction take place via secure connections with the highest industry standard protocols. 

Can I settle my Pay Later statement early? 

You can pay for you order as soon as you receive the email from Klarna with the payment details. Follow the instructions but keep in mind late repayments will affect your your credit score. 

Have you received the payment?

If you pay via credit or debit card, Blanksn London will confirm your order right away. If paying by Pay Later Klarna will send you an email notification to the email address provided. If you have made a payment but not yet received payment confirmation you can check the status by logging in at www.Klarna.com 

What happens to my statement if I return my item(s)? 

Once Blanksn London have received you return (partial or full) and you have received confirmation. You will be sent an updated statement by Klarna if you have made a a partial return. If you have return the whole order, your statement will be close.

What is Klarna Slice It? 

Klarna is a Swedish based payment service that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payments. Klarna is a provider of smooth payments to over 100,000 online stores. Over 60 million customers trust Klarna to handle their payments securely. 

How do I know when I need to pay?

We’ll tell you when your monthly statement is ready and it’s time to make your payment. If a payment is due you MUST pay at least the minimum payment each month, though only paying this amount will increase the total interest you have to pay. We recommend you pay the interest-saver amount, shown on your statement each month, which will keep you on track to pay for your purchase in full within the Financing promotional plan period. 

Can I change the card used to make payment?

Your second and third payments will be automatically taken from the card that you entered during the checkout process. If you need to change the payment card, simply log in to the Klarna app, head to your Instalments order and select "Change card", then enter your new card details. 

How does Instalments work?

Instalments will allow you to spread the cost of your purchase over 3 equal payments. The payment for each instalment will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. Your first instalment will be collected when your order is confirmed by the merchant and instalments 2 and 3 are scheduled 30 and 60 days later, respectively.

Can I send my order to an address other than my billing address?

Yes. You can enter a separate delivery address at the checkout. We recommend that if you are new to Klarna and you haven’t used the Pay later option before, you should have your first order delivered to your billing address. This maximises the chances of your purchase being accepted.

My email address is not correct. How can I change it?

You can live chat with our customer service agents 24/7 here to request that your contact details be updated. Please quote your statement number if you have received a statement by post.

I have not received my order. What happens to my statement?

You do not need to pay the statement until you have received your goods. Contact the online store if you have not received notification about your delivery. Log in to your Klarna account online or in the app to dispute your order by clicking on "Report a problem". By doing so your statement will be paused until you've received your order.
